(More customer reviews)This bass is definitely modeled after the old Rickenbacker style basses.. But at a thrid of the price. Split coil pickup makes this sound very much like a Fender Jazz. The active EG EMG pick ups rock! You can boost your treble or bass or both.. Great for a different feel for each song. Also has a nice blend knob. The neck feels great with a satin finish on it.

Great bass for a great price.

The STARGAZER-5's ash body gives you an extra-resonant tone withcrystal-clear highs, well-defined mids, and powerful lows. The figuredmaple top lets the Crimson Ghost finish really shine. A 34-inch scale bolt-on maple neck helps emphasize the body wood,and boasts a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. In the bridge position MMHZ is a passive pickup with a dual-coil designfor low noise and plenty of output. Featuring EMG's CS design (Ceramicand Steel), this has the punch and fullness of older passive designswith added brightness for a better-defined tone. The MMHZ is wired forboth dual-coil and single-coil use, changed through the push/pullvolume pot.The SJHZ pickup in the neck position features a stacked design,using ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core to increase output andlower noise. Adjust the master blend between the two pickups, and use the EMGActive 2-band EQ with selectable frequencies for further versatility,dialing in your tone just right for any application.
